Be Free For God

I miss you.

Is funny to say that where I know You are omnipresent, but sometimes I just can’t wait to see your face. 

 

I love this season of resting. To just worship you day and night, being in fellowship with this new family I found and knowing more about you through your word and people. 




 

I know how easy it is to be a busy Christian, how easy it is to lose one’s soul in the entanglements found in society, how easy it is for me to forget about your will and desires for the world, and my life. Amid my active life, show me how to not be distracted by the pressures, illusions, and pretences that confront me today so that my life may serve as a gift to those around me. Help me to stop, to listen, to wait, to be still, to heed, and to listen to your voice. Grant me the courage to faithfully surrender to you. Unclutter my heart.

I have a need of such clearance

As the Saviour effected in the temple of Jerusalem

A riddance of clutter of what is secondary that blocks the way

To the all-importance central emptiness

Which is filled with the presence of God alone.

 

What can I do to slow down and live more attentively to the voice of Jesus? 

 

It’s so like me to go astray, and it’s so like You to keep pursuing.

And I don’t need to keep on hiding, as I’m fully known and loved by You

You’ve guarded my heart with Your truth, and I surrender to Your Kindness and love.

For the rest of my life, I will follow You. 

There’s no better place to be in than in your presence and love.

Just to share a little more about myself, I was in the social sector for the past 5 years, and I quit my job last year to do a missionary school with YWAM (Youth with A Mission) in South Africa. I was supposed to be doing outreach in Lebanon this coming month; however, my heart has been burning for the recent Ukrainian war. As of today, 1.4 million refugees have been evacuated to the borders of Ukraine, and all the relief organizations nearby are overloaded and overworked, attending and swamped by the needs of the refugees. Many of the refugees are traumatized by the impact of war, where they witnessed death and encountered pain and separation.    God has been revealing more and more about the land day by day as I pray. January - DTS updates!

DTS (Disciple Training School) - Who We Are We have 34 students from different nationalities: Egypt, Netherlands, Germany, UK, US, South Africa, Sweden, Canada, Singapore, etc. It just moves me to see people of different nationalities lifting Him up with our native tongues.  This has been one of my favourite African praise songs; Jabulani Africa! Jabulani means to rejoice.                             My team is filled with so many young lives wanting to live for Him, and being so hungry in seeking Him. We have a 17-year-old team member who has been faithfully praying for healing over his cancer-stricken mum for 6 months and was disappointed with God when he lost his mum 2 years ago. Yet he shared that he is here because he wants to find God despite going through things that he cannot understand. “You have faith stories, too. No matter how small, remember them, recite them, count them, and celebrate them. They build your faith for what is coming next in your life.” ― Reinh The highlight of my trip to Poland would entail how God guided my every step. He is always on time and He hears every need. Brought an air ticket to Poland not knowing where the YWAM organization is. A Ukrainian Family received me at the airport and connected me to the YWAM team which he happened to be liaising with! (The Ukranian family that received me at the airport) (2 Ukranians approached me at the park where i was worshipping alone)   Upon my first day of arrival at the YWAM base, a brand new luggage randomly appeared when the team was praying for it the day before.
