Love in Ukraine
Hello fellow folks back home! I’m Geraldine from Hope Church Singapore. Just to share a little more about myself, I was in the social sector for the past 5 years, and I quit my job last year to do a missionary school with YWAM (Youth with A Mission) in South Africa. I was supposed to be doing outreach in Lebanon this coming month; however, my heart has been burning for the recent Ukrainian war. As of today, 1.4 million refugees have been evacuated to the borders of Ukraine, and all the relief organizations nearby are overloaded and overworked, attending and swamped by the needs of the refugees. Many of the refugees are traumatized by the impact of war, where they witnessed death and encountered pain and separation. God has been revealing more and more about the land day by day as I pray. When you see a gap in a crisis like this, you fill it, and you respond with urgency. I didn’t feel a need to wait but to go. God has also dropped in me to bring people along. I...
